Fall Days...and Fall Party's

So the Girls had been wanting to do something fun with some of their friends...so
we had a little Fall Party...we made pictures, played I have a little ghost and he won't scare you, we had a ghost treasure hunt, we made our own monsters, and decorated cupcakes...and of course watched the Legend of Sleepy Hollow!
How could I pass up some pics of raking up the fall leaves...the girls were
looking forward to jumping in the leaves ever since they started falling!
Elli on her horse...notice there is a beautiful bracelet on each leg and tons of necklaces on his neck...we they were his "bandages because he kicked his foot into the window and had to go see his daddy at the Hospital"..sound familiar?
Dan and the girls have taken up a new hobby Dancin' we got a great CD from one of the nurses Dan works with and now dancing is the request of the girls every night!
Gwyn was helping me make cupcakes for the party...notice both nostrils are dripping with green snot! Don't worry we're improving!

All the girls have been sick poor Elli has had both pin worms and strep and everyone else is suffering from a nice fall cold! We went and picked pumpkins at a new place and I got the cutest pics...then they all got erased before I got them on the computer...I held back the tears..these pics are from our temple trip a couple of weeks ago!

Kindergarten Olympics

Elli is a little puzzle girl so I found this princess puzzle at the dollar store! She loves it and has done it like...we'll I've lost count!

So Today Abbi's school had a mini Olympics...Abbi was on the Yellow team so we made her a little Horn Olympic t-shirt. She loved it and had a fabulous time. When asked what her favorite event was she said " I liked all of them!" These are the girls this morning just as we are heading out to take Abbi to school.

Conference Weekend...My Favorite weekend of the Year!

Lovin' Conference time, and for the first time Since living in Iowa we got to view Conference from the comfort of our own home.(Abbi was disappointed we didn't go to the church)

I have such fond memories of Conference in my own home...I want my girls to love it as much as I do so Conference involves preparation...books filled with great conference activities, bingo with mini M&M's, prizes when prophet apostle match is completed... I Loved sitting at the feet of our Prophet and receiving over and over the witness that he is the Lords chosen servant!

Sunday morning we awoke (or at least I did) to all 3 girls coming into our room and jumping on our bed...how blessed we are to have 3 kind girls. After dressing in our "Sunday" clothes the girls got to watch our camping vacation on TV(we got the cord that lets you watch whats on your computer on the TV how we got to view conference at home too!)

While Dad was gone to Priesthood session I gave the girls their bath and Gwyn for the first time said "Cheese" for the camera. We got the camera out because Abbi did Gwyn's hair for her and wanted me to take a picture...next thing you know she was saying cheese for the camera!

Side note you just have to love Elli in the back ground singing the song from little mermaid...AHHHHHHHH

Life's Little Moments!

So we made Carmel chocolate dipped apples and instead of slicing hers Elli wanted to eat hers whole!

A couple of days ago Gwyn asked for an apple so I gave her one she was walking around eating it and Elli asked if she could have a bite so Gwyn graciously gave her one then Elli invited her to sit down by the window and have a "picnic" with her the conversation went something like this... Elli: OK Bubbas sit down now, you get a bite...now pass it to me Bubbas and I get a bite...I pass it to you Bubbas take a bite Bubbas.." This went on until most of the apple was eaten not a bit of contention...Amazing! I had to snap a shot of their sweet picnic.

So Abbi's been missing all the fun we used to have when she wasn't in school...so I've been trying to make a better effort to have activities for her to do when she gets home (full day kindergarten is long and hard mostly for me =0) I got some cute Halloween wood painting crafts for 15 cents(I think the sale is still on at Johann's) and we had a cute little painting fest then we hung our decor out side to scare all our visitors!

Elli's daily job is to help me get the mail and earlier this week we got a pizza ad that had a pumpkin pizza advertised...so Elli had been asking to make pumpkin pizza. On Friday I babysat 5 other children so 8 total...Yes Dan was on call and yes I survived to tell about it, anyway we made a big pumpkin pizza for dinner for all our little friends. It was a riot playing in the park and thank goodness for Scooby Doo!

Gwyn has just learned the joy of the bouncing horse...she even feeds it while she is riding!
