Christmas Eve Whitney Style

So we had a bunch of friends over Christmas Eve for delicious food and great entertainment. The children put on the nativity for us as read by Dan. I was the understudy for mary and what do you know she bailed last minute Lucky me! After we finished the story we sang silent night in sign language. It was so sweet. We also found out Morgan wanted to get his mom a gold watch from the catch and release claw game at wal*mart but his dad was to cheep to fork out the dough it would cost! (we don't blame you Brent!)

Abbi in the Snow

So Abbi could live out doors...that is if I would throw her food and drink out there. But I like seeing her beautiful face so I make her come in!

All in the name of Science and Creation

We got some old pine cones from the neighbor and made our own aliens!

And in the name of Science...the girls love to create their own personal color of yogurt

I give them the food coloring drops and they mix and match to create "their" color

Then they can't help but make yogurt mustaches!

Green is really her color!

Going to the Temple

So I had the privilege of going to the temple with some great friends it was so good to be reminded of all my many blessings!

The First Snow

I know I'm a little slow here but how could I not post these cute pics. The girls were so excited for the first snow...Elli and Gwyn just wanted to eat the snow and boy did they eat...Abbi just wanted to go sledding. Thankfully we have a great hill on the side of our house it makes it very convenient to sled whenever she wants!

My Movie Star

So I'm chatting with my beautiful sister on the phone and Gwyn wants to try on my sunglasses and she posed for me how could I not snap a shot...This ones for you Leash love you!

Lights on our HOUSE...yes we own a house!

So we had to put lights on our very first house! We used every last strand we owned (and have owned for the life of our marriage randomly collected over the years!) We had a blast. It was a perfect day to hang lights and play in the park and climb trees. We also decorated our tree with blue lights (Dan got out of the dumpster a couple years ago... Strong work ) We are loving listening to Christmas music and drinking Hot Chocolate!
