Spring Break with the Hatch Clan

Spring Brake brought a fun change...All of my sisters, parents and even grandma got to come to Nauvoo and hang out with us for a week!

Saturday we celebrated the 3 March birthdays in the family...with an amazing themed party hosted by the one and only JaNae! We made 50's cars out of candy, had relay races, and musical records...not to mention the hamburgers,fries, and shakes! Thanks Nae for your great planning.

We did an actual handcart trek...it was only a mile but it felt like 10 and took us a little over 2 hours. We did not come prepared to do the "real" thing. We lost shoes in the mud, had crying babies, even grandma (in her 80's) made the journey. Dan was not there and lets just say I don't know if I could have hacked the real deal...I had to carry Gwyn the whole way and lets just say I was glad we had a home to go to after for a nap!

Valentines Day

For Valentines day this year Dan got the girls roses and wrote them their own personal valentine...
I made the ultimate valentines breakfast... Heart shaped eggs, pink heart pancakes, sausage and
grape juice in "Romantic cups" as the girsl call them. It was a fabulous day!
