Rainy Day Fun

My rainy day girls...seriously they would play in rain (full on rain not just sprinkles) and puddles all day if I could stand all the laundry it produces!
How can you not help but smile at this girl she cracks us all up!

Thanks Aunt Kristina for the Scooter and fairy dolls they are well loved!!

I couldn't resit taking this picture of the girls as I was making breakfast they got all their blankets and pillows and read stories together it was so precious!

It seems we've been having a lot of rain lately and so we are making the best of it... it sure beats the days of 95 degrees plus 100 % humidity, plus my extra bun in the oven! yikers :)

So when I woke up this morning I found this...

A CD with a sweet note on it with just this one song on it...
the one I'm playing now.
It's my new favorite song:)
I have the best Husband ever...and I thought I loved him!
Today's activities included: 8am ob appointment with all three girls! They were troopers then home for some jobs and then we created a fort and painted it...

Then we had to swim to get all clean...and enjoy the beautiful day that it is, then a picnic lunch in the yard and well now it's nap time and I have to get a few things done.

This one was just for you Kristina!

Hope you all are having a great day!

Chillin' in the back yard

Hip Hip hooray for our fire pit...aka our trip to the mountains in our very own backyard
perfect for roasting hot dogs and deliciously burnt marshmallows!

and the maker of fun nights when you don't even have to leave your home!

Elli is finally 4

Here is the Princess that I attempted to create...
Here are the lovely princesses who came over to play and have fun...

after a little pin the glass slipper on Cinderella, Jasmin's musical carpets, making crowns, wands and necklaces...the king read them some princess stories and we ate...

The Princess cake and ice cream ...it was quite tasty...
And now Ellinor finally is 4!

Abbi made it through her first year of "School"

So our baby has graduated from kindergarten!

They made their own graduation hats...hers has Robots saying happy graduation on it.
This is what she looked like the whole graduation...singing songs and all, she said she was too embarrassed to look at all the "hundred-thousand" people.

This is the Cake I made for the graduation celebration
(my personal favorite is the stick figures of Abbi and some class mates I thought up at around 11:30pm when the cake looked a little bare with just the hat and scroll!)

This is the happy little group that came to love and cheer Abbi on
(Dad was there in Spirit)
Congrats Abbi on a great year in Kindergarten!

The "UN BIRTHDAY"

Elli will forever go down in fame as not turning 4 on her birthday...She would not admit to anyone that she was 4 until her "princess birthday with her friends"
The "un-birthday" cupcakes with random number candles well because Elli wanted them.
The most exciting birthday gift as is told by the look on her face!(thanks Grandma and Grandpa)

the Birthday breakfast...sausage, Cinnamon sugar toast and o.j.

Suprise Party for Abbi's Teacher

The Quilt Abbi helped me sew for her teacher's baby (coming in December)
Abbi has a lead foot when it comes to the sewing pedal...makes me wonder how she'll do with the gas pedal ?
The cupcakes I made for her kindergarten class to celebrate Mrs. K's birthday

The group hug after the class gave her the gift...We had all Abbi's classmates sign the quilt with their names and a picture!

Eating lunch with Big sister at school for the surprise party

Abbi and her Kindergarten teacher Mrs. K
She has been an angel !

Can you believe Elli is 4!

Yes our little Ellinor was born 4 years ago today...
and she has brought us so much joy, happiness and laughter.

She has been a girly girl from the start, she loves playing princess...

Dressing up in beautiful dresses and getting her hair fixed!

She is great at make-believe, her favorite color is pink and her favorite dessert is pineapple, she loves helping her mother in the kitchen she is especially great at licking the bowl!
She loves reading books, playing outside and getting wet!

We're so glad you were born in our family Elli!
Happy Happy Birthday
