New Baby

This is Dan. I am not creative like Kerri, but I did figure out how to hack into her blog to post some pictures of the new baby. She was born on Sunday 8/30/09 weighing in at 6 lbs. 10oz. 19.5 in. We named her Vivian Fern Whitney. Mom and baby are doing well. Kidney stones are still going strong for at least a couple more weeks. Now for the goods...

This is the day we went in for induction the first time when they sent us home after doing an amnio and deciding the baby wasn't mature enough. She must get that from the Hatches because I'm sure no one ever heard of an immature Whitney :)

This was the next day - picture day at school for Abbi.

This was the next day - attempt #2 at induction after 48 hours more in the oven.

This is the new baby, just a couple hours old. I'm too lazy to rotate the picture. Turn your head or get over it. Besides with the picture like this, it's almost like your cradling her in your very own arms.

Here's the little gal trying to eat Mom's cheek a couple hours into life.

Proud big sister #1.

Proud big sister #2.

Proud big sister #3.

Teaching the girls how to give her a bath so that I don't ever have to do it again myself. Next up, diaper lessons.

Can you Believe she is 2!

Happy Happy Birthday to Gwyneth!

It's hard to believe it has been 2 years since she was born.
We are so thankful she joined our family!

Hospitals, Doctors, and Pain OH MY!

So I'm feeling bad that I'm not posting quite in my usual way...but on the 15th I was taken to the Hospital and what was discovered was a large Kidney Stone....many hours of extreme pain, lots of IV meds, prescriptions, ultrasounds, and a stint later I am back home but not back to my usual life style. The stone is still in me and that causes a bit of well lets just say discomfort! They can't remove the stone until the little bambito comes out sounds exciting hu. I know you wish you were me! So I hope all your summers are much more uneventful than mine has been. And at some point I'll catch up on posts...but maybe not anytime soon?
