Daily Cuteness

So this morning I was putting V down for her nap when I hear the beginnings of a game of hide and seek. It was so cute Gwyn was in the hall closet and Elli said go and hide Gwyn said "OK can you close the door for me?" Elli "but I already know where you are Gwynie" Gwyn insists so Elli counts then says ready or not here I come. I found you. It eventually progressed to all over the house and I heard counting as such

E: 1-37 perfectly then 39 30/10 30/11 How funny
G: 23-24 ready or not here I come
E: 1,2,3,4,,6,7,8,9,10,11, OK you know the rest here I come
G:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,11,22,23 ready or not

And we just cant get enough of Vivian she is so fun...can you believe she is almost 5 months!

Ode to the Littlest one

This will not be a lengthy poem rather a lengthy set of pictures of our little viv her smile is seriously bursting out of her she is such a sweet blessing to have in our home! We gave her rice cereal for the first time (just for kicks we're not consistent)but she loved it...not such a fan of green beans though! She is growing so fast at her 4 mo. check she was perfectly in the 50's for weight height and head size. She loves her big sisters and is the recipient of much dressing up, hugs, smooches and serious loves.

Don't Eat the Prophet

So in my attempt to help us keep the sabbath day holy I've been planing activities and such to keep us occupied I thought I'd share one of my new favorites. Yes. "Don't eat the Prophet". It is so fun. Same idea as don't eat peat. It was so great by the end we had Gwyn naming at least 5 apostles and prophets (the catch was in order to get a m&m you had to name the apostle or prophet first) It got pretty intense, but I think we all got at lest one m&m!

2010

What great festivities we had on New Years Day...We started off out doors building a house in the snow and trees in our yard when it got to cold we came in and played indoor baseball with some great balloons sent by Grandma...next we moved to building a rocket pack, by that time we were pretty hungry so we had some "scooby shaggy" sandwiches (as named by the girls)Then we had an indoor snow building competition- this involved me lugging in a large bucket of snow and providing cookie sheets, containers, flags, water (to help hold that darn Iowa snow together) oh and a few towels! We had some pretty great creations. We colored some great wall decor, and Abbi and Elli came up with their own little game (like aunt JaNaes they said)when they created elli into a mascot! What creative little girls! We had a super fun day. We missed our Daddy...maybe next year he'll get to play! OH and how can I forget for new years eve we went to a friends and had a blast...including a balloon drop and everything! We hope your new year is fabulous!
