Friday Field Trip... to the Doctor

So today was Vivian's 9 mo and Ellis 5 year Check ups... that was a big enough field trip! Gwyn also has had  Hives for the past 4 days so we had her checked out too!

 FYI Vivian is well I'll just say it... she is 17th percentile for weight and
                                                                        23rd for height 
                      How's that for petite! I might not be the shortest in the family after all!

"WEEDING"

So we have a garden and it needs weeding... not the favorite job around here. When I asked Elli to put on her garden clothes this is what she  came up with ... I thought it quite Creative! I was thinking  holes in the knees old pants and she was thinking flowers and butterflies!  What was I thinking?

Friday Field Trip ...The Natural History Museum

So this Friday we went to the Natural History Museum...It was threatening rain but we decided to risk it!

We had a great time...I don't think we could ever get tired of the exhibits there! They are so fun and exciting. When we got out we realized we had missed a huge storm! We were going to try a new park for a picnic and this is what we found...great park but a  little bit of damage from the storm. We'll try it again when half of the town hasn't just been blown down!

So we had our friends over so packing and cleaning could get done and because we love to play with them...we made snow cones, swam, had school ate lunch...what great friends! We're missing you already!

Good Bye Tingeys

So we had a going away party for our friends who are moving to Great Falls! And well I had to get a group picture so they could remember us all! We'll miss you guys!

Anything for a bandaid!

So as it goes any small bump requires a bandaid well this was getting expensive so the rule was made that you had to have blood to deserve a bandaid...this was "bloody" and she had to have a bandaid...note this is a princess one!

Friday Fieldtrips!!!

So for our first official field trip of the summer we went to the Fossil Gorge... We caught tadpoles (that died 2 days later), we used our magnifying glass to inspect and identify the fossils we even rubbed crayons on paper over the fossils to show our dad...then we had  a picnic and played. What a fun field trip!

Sarah's Baptism

So to support some great friends we decided to attend the baptism of their oldest daughter! It was a 2 hr. drive but it was worth it! How fun to see the Hintz family again and hang out for a bit. We go back...Melissa and I met at BYU she was engaged to Jared . Then what do you know we show up in Iowa 3 yrs later and there they are in church. Both our husbands were starting dental school...we both have 4 girls very close in age. They started a practice in Iowa...we're still in school? How great to be with such good friends!  side note our youngest girls are like 2 weeks apart Viv being the older!

Box Fun

Who knew how much fun a few good boxes can be!

I'm doing this post in pink because it just seems fitting!

Elli turned 5 today... it truly seems like yesterday we were taking her home from the hospital...that very night we all (Grandma and Grandpa Hatch,Dad, Mom, Abbi, and new baby Elli) spent the night in the basement because we were having a tornado warning. What an exciting adventure to start your first day home with. Today was a beautiful day. We had your pick of friend "Molly" and her family over for dinner, swimming, playing, and the ever requested butterfly cupcake birthday dessert.

We love you and are so glad you have come to our little family to learn and grow. Happy Birthday Ellinor!
